Even more surprisingly Glimmer, it cracked the top 10 in Box Office in less than 200 theaters. That’s pretty good. I know my tagline says ‘no box office’, but sometimes it’s important!

that’s right it’s already number 70 on the imdb top 250 list.

Hitman: Apparently it’s supposed to be very violent and a hard R, but the production was plagued with issues, the director was replaced late in the game, and there were reshoots. Depending on what you read, it’s either going to very faithful to the game’s violent content or not. I have a bad feeling about it.

The Mist: I was disappointed by the trailer and Darabont’s version of the creepy crawlies, but the movie may work better. I don’t know..the fanboys are really excited by that but that doesn’t mean much.

That’s great Hedwig! I’m not a patient man when it comes to certain things and I don’t know if I could’ve waited until February to see No Country when I knew it was playing somewhere else in the world for 3 months. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about it.

I have high hopes but low expectations for The Mist…if that makes any sense. I like the idea of Htiman and I like Timothy Olyphant, but… What’s the buzz on CHUD or AICN, do you know?

If no actual boycott emerges, and it appears it wont, I’ll probably go see No Country again or finally catch up with American Gangster.

I’m looking forward to Margot and I’m Not There coming to a theater near me but I admit I’d like Hitman and The Mist to be good just because I like some of the people involved and heh, everyone needs a little popcorn from time to time.

But I will be boycotting theaters this weekend with like 4 other people out there in support of the writer’s strike. Like anyone will notice.

I just heard that I get to review No Country, so I’ll be seeing it on the 3rd of December (instead of having to wait until Valentine’s Day, which, believe it or not, is the official Dutch release date). I can’t wait!
