2008 Bloggies Reminder

Time is running out. Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard…and of course don’t hesitate to vote for Living in Cinema for the 2008 Bloggies if you haven’t done so already.

Voting ends tomorrow: Friday, January 11 at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5). Finalists will be announced Tuesday, January 22 and you will then be able to vote again.

If you vote for me at all, pick any of the categories you want, but realistically my best shot at a nomination is probably Best New Weblog so be sure to hit that one.

NOTE: When you vote, you will receive in email confirmation with a link you must click in order to validate your ballot. Also, in order for your vote to count, you have to vote for at least 3 different weblogs overall. They don’t have to be in the same category. You could vote for one weblog in one category, then two others in different categories. If you don’t read any other blogs, pick Awards Daily (www.awardsdaily.com) because Sasha has been a massive help to me and my little endeavor here. Beyond that, I refer you to the Blogroll to your right. I don’t want to play favorites, I like them all.

  1. I voted for you, as you know, and I know of people who voted for me in the Best Weblog by A Teen, and then I went and changed sites, which was not so smart! Many people could not vote in some of the categories because they did not know three candidates for each category, especially in the Teen Blog category, which kind of sucks.

  2. That’s a shame Nick. The thing is though, they didn’t have to vote for 3 in each category, just 3 total overall. They could’ve voted for a different blog in 3 categories and it would’ve counted.

The directions weren’t very clear. I had a bunch of people asking me questions trying to get it to work.

  3. Oh, I got it completely wrong then, and so did many others I have spoken to, but in the end, it makes no differnece, I voted for those who deserved to be voted for, and if I don’t end up nominated, there’s always another year.
