Awards Daily and others comfirm the rumor that Jonny Greenwood’s terrific score for There Will Be Blood has been disqualified for an Oscar nomination. Variety’s Red Carpet District refers to Rule 15 of the Academy’s Special Rules for Music Awards precluding “scores diluted by the use of tracked themes or pre-existing music.” There Will Be Blood made [...]
