I’m already committed to seeing the new Pixar movie, WALL•E, the instant it hits theaters on June 27. Therefore, watching the trailer or reading plot synopses or gathering unnecessary details about it is absolutely out of the question. Digital Cinema Initiatives is a consortium formed in 2002 by Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios to establish technical standards to help smooth and encourage the transition from film to digital projection.
