The saga of Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s struggle to get his film Syndromes and a Century shown in his home country of Thailand continues. Originally commissioned for Vienna’s New Crowned Hope festival celebrating the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Syndromes premiered at the 2006 Vienna Film Festival, but has yet to play in Thailand.
