New Trailer For ‘Life Before Her Eyes’

The Life Before Her Eyes, the new Uma Thurman/Evan Rachel Wood movie we talked about a couple of weeks back has a new trailer you can see for yourself here.

This one is a lot more specific than the last one, so anyone already sold on the movie who doesn’t want to know more should probably steer clear. On the other hand, anyone who wasn’t knocked out by the original trailer might want to have a look.

From House of Sand and Fog director Vadim Perelman, The Life Before Her Eyes opens in New York and Los Angeles on April 18 and then goes wide on April 25.

  1. Meh… I enjoyed House of Sand and Fog, so thats a selling point, but the trailer in and of itself feels emotionally derivative. Looks like a cheap cross between Now and Then and The Hours. Maybe its the music…. I dunno.

Consider me gently pushed rather than knocked out.

  2. Oh Craig. lol.

  3. Are you sensing a transparent excuse to put up a picture of ERW, Nick?

  4. Hmm, two thoughts.

1.) The visuals in this film look pretty beautiful, and I’m not even talking about the women…

2.) I stopped watching this after about 15 seconds because something about it all of sudden appears watchable. Either I’m in a generous mood or the last trailer truly was a disaster from the first frame. It looks like an occasionally sunny movie, and spring is sunny. We’ll see what happens.

  5. I’m completely on the fence. Drawn by the cast, skeptical because of my feelings about House of Sand and Fog.
