Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon’s thriller script, The Cabin in the Woods co-written with Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard, has been picked up and greenlit by MGM.

After reporting this morning that Quentin Tarantino was shopping his Inglorious Bastards script around Hollywood, Nikki Finke later confirmed that the director was also talking to Brad Pitt about starring in the World War II flick.
