Cody Writing Comedy for SpielWorks

It was Spielberg’s idea, it doesn’t have a title and no one will say what it’s about, but Oscar winner Diablo Cody is writing it so it’s news.

Meanwhile, hordes of bitter unproduced screenwriters all over Hollywood snap their MacBooks shut in disgust, seething at another’s success.

Coming soon from Cody is the horror comedy Jennifer’s Body starring Megan Fox as a cheerleader posessed by a demon who feeds off of teenage boys.

  1. Ooh, posted this at CCC, too.

As I said over there, the most interesting part of the Variety story is that Spielberg apparently showed interest in directing Juno, which would have been kind of interesting.

  2. Seriously, can you imagine a Spielberg Juno?

  3. “Seriously, can you imagine a Spielberg Juno?”

    E.P.T. phone hooooome.

  4. AHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

You built onto my scrabble word to get to the triple score square.

    well played, sir.

  6. “Juno” scribe has been tapped to pen an untitled comedy script for DreamWorks that is based on an original idea by Spielberg….

Project marks the second time the pair have collaborated. Cody wrote the pilot and is exec producing Showtime series “The United States of Tara,” also based on an original idea from Spielberg.

Now I can’t stop worrying about Spielberg getting his brains sucked out through his dick.

  7. So you’re suggesting that “original idea” was “hey, how about you blow me?”

  8. LOL !!

  10. Ryan’s serving, I’m just trying to volley without hitting th net.

  11. [Ryan feigns a sprained ego, and melodramatically hobbles off the court. Throws racket at gawking ball boy.]
