‘Bastards’-Watch

More than a week has gone by without any Inglorious Bastards news, but Variety saves the day by reporting that Universal Pictures is close to partnering with the Weinstein Company on bringing the World War II flick to a screen near you.

Near the end of the short article, Michael Flemming and Tatiana Siegel realize this is not a very interesting report so they remind us once again that Tarantino talked to Brad Pitt about a role.

Me and the monkeys still aren’t buying it.

  1. Now, now, Craig, they aren’t saying Brad Pitt will take it, just that Tarantino and he talked about it.

I was starting to wonder where the Bastards Watch went. Are the monkeys becoming bored with it? :)

  2. I know, but they act like it’s news when it’s nothing of the kind. When he does sign, it will be news and I will admit my wrongness. Until then, I mock.

Same goes for Downey Jr. as Heffner.
