According to ComingSoon, the Spike Jonze directed adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are has resurfaced on Warner Bros’ October 2009 Calendar.

As Toronto fires up and Venice winds down, here’s a smattering of reviews of the higher profile films critics are talking about.
