I liked the teaser poster better, but please let this movie be brilliant.

  1. Still and all, a pretty cool poster. I want to see this movie now!

btw, did you notice that the url for the site is “synecdoCHENY.com?” (Ok, so it’s lame. And Cheney doesn’t spell his name like that.)

  2. I’m itching for this movie too which is why the poster would practically have to give me a lap dance before it was completely satisfactory.

Of course you’re right though that it is a pretty cool poster.

As much as I’m anticipating Che, I think Synecdoche and Benjamin Button trump it for me. Che I fear is going to have political and historical baggage that might be distracting, where the other two, particularly the Kaufman film, feel pure and true.

Hah…Chen(e)y is everywhere, in one form or another (but not for long!).

  3. Damn, Craig. Get out of my head! I feel the exact same way. The poster looks ridiculously cool. And I too think the films that will blow me away for sure are BB, Synecdoche (and though you didn’t mention them, Milk & RR). I’m cautious about Che and The Changeling, however. The former because Eastwood is generally hit or miss with me (as is Ms. Jolie, who, for the record, I admire quite a lot), the latter because of the reasons you mentioned.

By the way, check out the poster to another upcoming film on ITG. I’m curious to hear what you think.

  4. But Dorothy, it’s kind of warm and comfortable in your head. Can’t a stick around for awhile? I promise not to touch anything or mess up the carpet.

  5. OK, just stay out of the attic. Two words: Skeleton Key.

  6. AHAHAHAHA. You shouldn’t have told me that. Now I’m curious.

  7. Add some dancing girls and that poster would look exactly like the inside of your head Craig.
