A press release went out this evening announcing that Paramount cancelled AFI Fest’s opening night world premiere of The Soloist due to the film’s release date change.
A new film will be announced on Thursday.
Will it be another Paramount film? Will it be Benjamin Button?

I’ll be so angry if it’s BENJAMIN BUTTON because missing it will make it sting even more, but the thought ran across my mind when I read that release.
Since I won’t be able to see it anyway, I’m quietly hoping it’s something lame.
Could be another Paramount/Dreamworks — MADAGASCAR 2 — for a dose of ultimate lameness.
