Trailer: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Here’s the international teaser trailer for the next Harry Potter movie. Though I’ve always been vaguely disappointed in them, I’ve still managed to read all the books and see all the movies. I can never remember which is which, but there has to be something to them right?

Do these titles keep getting worse?
I’m a big Harry Potter fan. I think they could have been better–books and movies both–but I get totally sucked in despite myself. If I were a kid when they came out, I’d have been helplessly addicted. Despite the fact that christian doesn’t like the title, this one is my favorite book of the series, so I have hope that the film will be pretty good. Interestingly, my least favorite book of the series was the Order of the Phoenix, which was one of the better movies–a case where the film vastly improved on the book’s excesses. This book is also super long, so I’m wondering how they’ll condense it, and to what (special) effect.
I think it’s the little kid in me (still alive and well) that keeps me coming back to both book and movie. I have to say, though the last book took too long to get going, the finale made having read the whole series worthwhile.
