    This is basically the same trailer they ran on Fox in front of the premiere of the TV series Fringe, except they’ve added a couple more shots of Gort and cut down the scene where Keanu goes all Hal 9000 on the base he’s in.

    Normally, I enjoy a little sci-fi world destruction if it’s halfway intelligent, but I have to question any script where they shut down a freeway to drive someone to the site when they could have JUST TAKEN A HELICOPTER. And if Keanu controls all electronics telepathically, why are the lights fluttering in the room? How did they even “capture” him? Why bother to be captured?

    Methinks this one is going to suck.

    Scott Derrickson showed in The Exorcism of Emily Rose that he can craft a pretty image, but not that he could handle a narrative.

    Joel, he gets shot and is taken into a metical room to be examined and is then intarigated.
