FINALLY.
And, I love it. It looks amazing, which we sort of all ready knew, or hoped. I’ve voiced my anticipation to see this far too many times already, so I won’t anymore. But just know that it is extremely hard for me to contain my excitement, I’m doing you all a huge favour, coz if I didn’t, it wouldn’t be pretty.
I’ve seen it. I can’t wait for this to come out so that I can finally start agreeing with people again.
Yep, Nick, I share your excitement. After THE FOUNTAIN, I have been anticipating Aronofsky’s next project. But this has been my stock line.
Really looking forward to this. Great trailer!
Super trailer, and looks like quite a major departure for Aronofsky.
Departure? Yes and no. I’m gonna argue it’s thematically consistent.
I can’t yet say if Rourke’s performance is iconic, one for the ages, but that stringy blonde hair of his sure is. It’s on up there with Anton Chigurh’s, I’d say.
Looking forward to seeing this someday. Maybe it will actually come here. People here like wrestling a whole heckuva lot.
K., it very well be, but not having seen the movie, and simply based on the trailer, it’s definitely not stylistically consistent, since Aronofsky is apparently no longer in hyper-formalized genius-auteur mode.
The good news: This finally got a release date for Argentina.
The bad news: February 12th. Argh.
Jeff, agreed.
