Apple has the first 3 minutes of Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming Tetro. It’s mostly opening credits and a brief look at the opening scene, but it gives a sense of the beautiful look and tone of the film.

Tetro opens June 11.

  1. The lyric abstraction and beauty of this remind me of what I liked about Youth Without Youth. Coppola always knows how to make a film look good. This opening is lovely. I like how he plays with angles here, seems sort of symbolic of his renewed inventiveness and interest in keeping his filmmaking fresh. Maybe that’s reading too much into it. At any rate, count me in the jazzed column.

  2. I think you’re totally approaching this with the right spirit. Try this one without the pain killers though :)
