I’m glad I wasn’t the only one scratching my head here. This newest entry in this potential series appears to be a showcase for unknowns and actors testing the directing waters.

Some hullabaloo hit last week when it was leaked that Scarlett Johansson’s entry had been cut. I think you might be able to find it online as a promo for this.

Who are these directors? I know about five of them, but not the others. This is Portman’s directorial, isn’t it? Of the directors, I’m excited about Fatih Akin and maybe Mira Nair. Brett Ratner? Bleh.

Paris, Je T’aime was lovely. I’m pretty curious about this one.

I’m just glad it’s getting released at all. I was afraid it had disappeared.

I loved PJT too and I’m a little skeptical about this one based on the directing line up, but I’m interested. These omnibus films are a tricky, hit or miss business, but that’s why I like PJT so much because it actually worked.

Seems to be an embarrassment of riches around LiC today. Let’s just say I dig it. GREATLY.

Oh, those bloody jackasses…

I was really looking forward to this. I’m glad it’s being released AT ALL. But if this is anything like PARIS JE T’AIME (which I saw twice and loved), this would be the perfect film to see during spring or the savage heat of summer. That was when I saw PJT…and that was a deliciously perfect experience.

So they blew their shot at that. What a bunch of maroons, as my beloved Bugs would say.

But how you can possibly go wrong with a cast that includes ANDY GARCIA, CHRISTINA RICCI, ETHAN HAWKE, DREA DE MATTEO, JOHN HURT, CHRIS COOPER, ELI WALLACH and CLORIS LEACHMAN?

I’ll live, I guess.

But it won’t make me any more patient. That’s a quality that I lack completely…
