I’m especially amused by the juxtaposition of the Mad Hatter image with the Dillinger ad right next to it.

Did you hit McPaper and look at some of the other images? All the cool kids are just posting themselves, but I figured a teaser was enough.

Anyway, I agree. After he cast Depp and Carter, I thought he might be spinning his wheels with the same-old-same-old (and I say this as a guy who liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factor, silly Wonka backstory and all), but this is a nifty mix of Burton and Carroll.

Obviously, it’s just concept art, but still. If it’s a clue to the eventual style of the film, you know it’ll at least look great. Now if Burton can actually tell a story…
