Teaser Trailer: Jeunet’s ‘Micmacs a-tire larigot’

Jean-Pierre Jeunet returns to what very much looks like Delicatessen form with this teaser for his next film Micmacs à tire-larigot starring Danny Boon. It’s in French but that just makes it even more teasery, doesn’t it? Check it out after the jump.
Here’s the cryptic blurb from Twitch:
Is it better to live with a bullet lodged in your brain, even if it means you might drop dead any time? Or would you rather have the bullet taken out and live the rest of your life as a vegetable? Are zebras white with black stripes or black with white stripes? Is scrap metal worth more than landmines? Can you get drunk from eating waffles? Can a woman fit inside a refrigerator? What’s the human cannonball world record?
Find out answers to these questions and more.
A comedy in the vein of Delicatessen and Amélie.

Curiosity piqued. Delicatessen was the first foreign film I saw in the theater. It remains a favorite. This does look to have some of the same sensibilities.
I understand a bit of what’s going on from the voiceover, but it doesn’t really say a lot…
-Danny Boon is… Bazil.
-Today, he will receive a bullet in the head.
-With him every day are Micmacs à tire-larigot. (Micmac means intrigue, but I’m not sure how to translate this…)
I’m game for this. Any idea when it opens in the States?
The hell?
Hahaha…well OK then.
No idea on the US release date.
There is some more specific blurbage out there if you want to find it, but I’m content with this little sliver.
