Like Mr. Creosote and his wafer thin mint, Toronto International Film Festival organizers crammed a few more titles into their lineup bringing the total number of films to 129.

The biggest add as far as LiC is concerned is the world premiere of Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Micmacs a tire-larigot which we’ve been following anxiously for the last month and is now apparently going simply by Micmacs. I don’t know. I kind of liked the way the longer title rolled off the tongue.

Also making it’s world premiere will be Jason Reitman’s comedy Up in the Air starring George Clooney.

[Update: I forgot to include Tom Hooper’s Peter Morgan penned and Michael Sheen, Timothy Spall, Colm Meaney and Jim Broadbent starring UK football drama The Damned United which opened in the UK in March and will be making it’s North American premiere in Toronto]

Check out the full list of additions including a few that were just announced as Venice premieres at indieWIRE.

  1. Yes indeed. I posted at another thread a few weeks ago, expressing gleeful anticipation of this film, as I am a big fan of DELICATESSEN and A VERY LONG ENGAGEMENT.
