AFI Fest to open with ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’

Wes Anderson’s stop-motion animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr. Fox has been announced as the opening night film of AFI Fest 2009 which runs in Hollywood from October 30 to November 7.
The film featuring the voices of George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, Willem Dafoe, Bill Murray and Owen Wilson opens in limited release on November 13 with a national rollout to follow on November 25.
