I doubt Von Trier will do anything so banal as threatening his leads with a giant doughnut of death. I'm not instantly expecting this to be good, but I doubt anyone in a Von Trier disaster film will be as sainted with preposterously good luck in the face of constant instant death as John Cusack and spawn are in 2012's clips.
