Fun! I’ll be here in all my Oscar finery.
I will be here with bells on. By the way, just saw “A Serious Man” and thus I’ve seen all of the nominates best films. And what a way to end it. Nice.
I had so much fun at your place last year Dorothy that I thought I’d see if I could carry on the magic.
I barely remember the show, but I vividly remember laughing my ass off.
I’m sure that’ll be the case tonight. I think we seriously need a laugh this year!
Glad you squeezed in A Serious Man, Dororthy, and thrilled you liked it. I’ve seen all 10 myself. I consider this quite an accomplishment considering where I live.

I’m cooking dinner and will be popping in. So far, my reactions are:
SOmeone must’ve told Waltz to not wax poetic — this was a lovely speech!
Why is George Clooney not smiling? It doesn’t seem like an act.
Has anyone seen Chrarlize Theron’s gown? It’s a bit risque. . . .
uh we can always use more risque/right ????
Speaking for myself, glimmer, it’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta do it — it’s polite to be accommodating!
So far, I think the show is well paced, the incidental musical selections are fine, and there’s a certain comfortable formality about it.
During the clip of animated characters, who was it that parodied Halle Berry’s accpetance speech?
