What we have here is an indie romantic comedy with a terrific cast, but a somewhat sketchy trailer. Michael Angarano was terrific in the underrated Snow Angels and also pretty good in the even more underrated Forbidden Kingdom (yes, I know. Shut up). Uma Thurman is always good in the right things, but never necessarily I reliable indication of quality. Lee Pace has also been good if a bit underused (The Fall, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, TV’s Pushing Daisies).

Here’s the blurb from the film’s Facebook page:

Sam Davis (Michael Angarano) convinces his former best friend to spend a weekend with him to rekindle their friendship at an elegant beachside estate owned by a famous documentary filmmaker (Lee Pace). But it soon becomes clear that Sam is secretly infatuated with the filmmaker’s fiancée, Zoe (Uma Thurman), and that his true intention is to thwart their impending nuptials. As Sam’s plan begins to unravel, he is forced to realize how complicated love and friendship can be.

Yeah. I don’t know. We’ll See.

Ceremony opens On Demand on March 4 and in theaters April 8.
