  1. Knights of Badassdom must have killed at Comic Con because that cast is impressively aimed right at their collective hearts and minds. But the entire film appears to be a riff on that one LARPing video though, so here’s to hoping the cast can elevate this beyond the five minutes of funny that mocking the SCA types is worth.

  2. I hesitated to even post it because it doesn’t sound like my cuppa at all, but I like the cast, especially Dinklage, and the trailer made me laugh.

  3. Peter Dinklage is awesome. I hope he wins at the Emmys because he rocked hard as Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s Game of Thrones. But will the voters favor someone who works on a tv show that appeals to people that enjoy LOTR in a hardcore way?

Hell, I’ll watch Knights because of him alone.

  4. Rodrigo, I’ve just been catching up with Game of Thrones (reading the book and watching the show as I go along) and Dinklage is fantastic. I remember seeing him in the Station Agent and I thought he was great, but I wondered if he just seemed great because of his unique stature, but after In Bruges and now Game of Thrones, it’s obvious he’s just a good actor.

His accent seems a little weird in the show though, but he’s not the only one and since it isn’t technically “Britain” anyway, who’s to say whether the accent is correct or not?

Glad he was nominated. Don’t know who he’s up against, but I hope he wins.

  5. Craig, Dinklage wasn’t part of In Bruges. That was Jordan Prentice, the guy who was under the Howard The Duck suit. So at least there’s two talented dwarf actors. 3, if we chime in Warwick Davis.

  6. You’re absolutely right, Rodrigo. (hangs head in shame) With apologies to all little people. They don’t all look alike, I’m just an idiot.
