Music video director to tackle Joe Eszterhas’ Lust
Hype Williams has directed videos for Coldplay, Christina Aguilera and a bunch of others. Eszterhas was once a highly paid screenwriter who wrote Basic Instinct and many more. His only screen credits since 1997’s An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn were a character credit on Basic Instinct 2 (2006) and the Hungarian film Children of Glory (2006). This one is described as “Fatal Attraction in reverse” with a man doing the stalking. (Variety)

Disney/Ben Stiller adapting Quantum Hoops into a comedy
The documentary told the story of the hapless Caltech basketball team that (at the time of the documentary) had played 245 conference games over 21 seasons without a win. Stiller’s company is producing, but no word if he’ll direct or star.  (Deadline)
