I did not know a German author wrote a series of western novels in the ’60s about an Apache and his American sidekick or that said novels were turned into a series of beloved movies, but they were. And now Michael Blake is going to write the script for a remake. Nothing is safe! (THR)

R.E.D. director Robert Schwentke to tackle Hitler flick The Poison Kitchen
Based on a chapter in Mathew Sand’s non-fictioner Explaining Hitler about a German newspaper that was anti-Hitler in the ’20s and ’30s and suffered the consequences when the little tyrant seized power. If you can’t stand the poison heat, stay outta the poison kitchen. (THR)
