Happy 40th birthday, Christina Applegate!

Ron: Well, for all of us here at Channel 4 News, I’m Ron Burgundy. You stay classy, San Diego.
Veronica: And thanks for stopping by.
Ron: But, mainly, stay classy.
Veronica: Thanks for stopping by.
Ron: StayclassyI’mRonBurgundy.
Veronica: Thanks for stopping by.
Ron: Stay cla… Ron Burgundy.
Veronica: (clears throat)
Ron: (clears throat)
Veronica: (laugh) Huh.
Ron: Huh. You’re a real hooker and I’m gonna slap you in public.
Vernonica: (laugh) You have way too much pubic hair.
Ron: Mmm. Actually that’s a point of pride. I’m very proud of my mane of pubic hair, so thank you.
Veronica: You have man boobs (fake laugh).
Ron: You’ve got a dirty whorish mouth, that’s what you have… I’m gonna punch you in the ovary. That’s what I’m gonna do.
Veronica: (laugh)
Ron: A straight shot…
Veronica (sarcastic): Ooh, ow.
Ron: …right to the baby maker.
Veronica: Ahhh, Jazz flute is for little fairy boys.
Ron: Ok, you know what? That’s uncalled for! I can’t work with this woman!

  1. Thanks for providing my first giggle of the day, CK. This one never fails!

  2. I’ve always liked this movie. Will Ferrell is not to everyone’s taste, but I find him hilarious albeit just a little bit nuts in real life.

  3. Don’t thank me, Jeanine. Thank Will Ferrell and birthday girl Christina Applegate.

Pierre, I like Ferrell too. I usually don’t have a lot of patience for stupidity, but there’s something about his persona that just makes me laugh in a way others like Adam Sandler don’t.
