  1. OFCS usually has the best nominees. Well, OFCS and the Muriels.

  2. I’m actually not that crazy about our overall choices for Best Picture, but since they included the one I plan to vote for, I’m not going to cry about it too much. If Artist or Descendants win however, I’ll be pissed.

  3. No love for Ides of March and Moneyball :-P
    Still, I am yet to see a big part of those films… Maybe they are better but still. Even Midnight in Paris is not recognized. Kind of a strange pick for me. I am not crazy about the noms but for me OFCS always aimed to be different than the rest of the critics which is a good thing. Gives a better shot to more films to get recognized :-)

  4. The only category I’m really annoyed by is Documentary because they didn’t nominate Pina, but 4 out of the 5 picks are solid. I didn’t like Tabloid at all, but I can’t really argue with it since I know everyone thought it was great.
