I’ve reviewed an unusually high number of this weekend’s wide releases so I thought I’d call your attention to the high and lowlights.

Disney/Pixar’s Brave
Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love
Steve Carell and Keira Knightley in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

The odds that I’d go for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter were pretty small and the fact I didn’t makes reviewing it seem sort of pointless. So I didn’t. I had a few laughs with it, but I can’t say whether the laughs were intentional or not. I’m thinking not, but maybe you don’t care. Either way, skip the 3D on this one. It was shot in 2D and converted to 3D afterwards and it looks pretty terrible.

Also check out Jackson’s interview with Kirby Dick, the director of the doc The Invisible War which opens in limited release today.
