  1. Just saw this again. I’ve said this before and it still stands – as terrific a movie as TDK is I like this one more.

  2. We just revisited this last night. Actually better than I remember although I don’t like the climax action-ending one iota, but it holds up well overall and features the strongest origin story of any of these superhero films. And Katie Holmes is great. I was actually disappointed she didn’t reprise the role after seeing her again in this. Plus, this Michael Caine fellow knows his way around character acting. Hollywood would do well to hire him a bit more often.

  3. I think the supporting cast of Caine, Freeman, Oldman and Murphy really make this the movie that it is, which is a lot better than the general reputation it has.
