  1. If this quote isn’t timely and relevant to this morning’s sad headlines, I don’t know what is.

  2. Ugh. Yeah. I chose it and scheduled it days ago. I had no idea.

  3. Can a shooting that happened thousands of miles away from your country affect you? If you think that the people who died are Americans, Iranians, Germans but not Greeks, it can, but in a “normal” amount. You feel sad of course and you move on. However, if you think that the people who died or injured are just people, humans, then it affects you deeply. Because, no, in reality the shootings didn’t happen miles aways, they happened near your home. In your neighbourhood. In your favorite movie theater. I am in Greece but I, too, heard the shots and I, too, think about the families of the victims. Your site’s name Craig is ironic today, but also very true. Because no matter what some distorted minds can do we are still LiC.

  4. There’s something about this having happened in a movie theater that really made it hit home for me in ways other tragedies just like it didn’t. For one thing, movies are like church to me, but also there’s something about a group of happy people getting together for a little innocent enjoyment and having it turn horribly wrong in a way they never could’ve imagined and for no reason at all.

Plus there’s the feeling that hte people in the audience were basically trapped. Horrible.
