Jonathan Demme’s third collaboration with Neil Young (my review) lands on DVD today. You can pick up a copy over at Amazon OR you can try your luck winning one courtesy of the fine folks at Sony Home Entertainment.

Simply drop me a line ( contact [at] livingincinema [dot] com ) with your favorite Neil Young song, OR even better, tell us your favorite in the thread below. Also, if you’re into the whole social media thing, RT this tweet.

By the end of the week, I’ll pick a name at random and have Sony send it your way.

  1. My favorite? That is very hard. I’ll go with “Old Man”.

  2. Sedan Delivery.

  3. Powderfinger without a doubt!

  4. For those of you keeping score at home, mine is “I am a Child” with “Sugar Mountain” a close second.

  5. Heart of Gold

  6. I’m partial to “Unknown Legend,” both because it’s a great song and because of it’s association with RACHEL GETTING MARRIED. My wife and I liked how it was used in that movie so much we included the song in the music to be played for the audience as they waited for our wedding ceremony to begin.

I also like the stark simplicity of “The Needle and the Damage Done.”

  7. Tough, but I’ll go with Natural Beauty. Love his lyrics.

  8. I also love sartre’s choice “Old Man”, Paul’s “Unknown Legend” and Michelle’s “Heart of Gold” hence I’ll go here with another I quite like:

    “After the Gold Rush”

  9. Excellent choices everyone. I’ll be picking a winner soon from among the comments, emails and tweets.
