GoldenEye (1995) Directed by Martin Campbell
Judi Dench as “M” and Pierce Brosnan as James Bond

M: You don’t like me, Bond. You don’t like my methods. You think I’m an accountant – a bean counter more interested in my numbers than your instincts.
Bond: The thought had occurred to me.
M: Good, because I think you’re a sexist, misogynist dinosaur. A relic of the Cold War whose boyish charms, though wasted on me, obviously appeal to that woman I sent out to evaluate you.
Bond: Point taken.
M: Not quite, Double-oh-seven. If you think for one moment I don’t have the balls to send a man out to die, your instincts are dead wrong. I have no compunction about sending you to your death, but I won’t do it on a whim… even with your cavalier attitude towards life.

  1. I thought for sure you’d pick this line:

Bond: How do you take it?
    Onnatop: Straight up….with a twist.

anyway….I love this film. Brosnan had so much potential and it was completely wasted after this movie. His other 3 or 4 Bond films are atrocious. “GoldenEye” is exciting, violent, funny, sexy. Martin Campbell should have just done all the Brosnan movies.

  2. I love Judi Dench in this role.
