  1. Truly bizarre.

    LINCOLN and LES MISERABLES lead the way with 10 and 9, yet Spielberg and Hooper are snubbed.

    Is ARGO now in the driver’s seat with this group? It’s certainly possible.

  2. Yes, that is strange. I understand Haneke knocking one out, but I don’t understand including Tarantino and I say that as someone who likes Django.

    Yes, Argo so far seems to have a pretty spotless awards record, it’s got good reviews and good box office. More importantly, it’s not controversial or divisive.
