Question: Have you seen every Robert Altman film ever made?

Answer: No. I haven’t seen his early “The Delinquents” and one or two others.

Question: Are you at all familiar with “The Delinquents?”

Answer: I have read that Altman was influenced by REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE and THE BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, while writing the script for this low-budget first effort. I definitely would like to see it!

It’s available to stream on Netflix. Perhaps I’ll check it out once I’m finished cramming for the Muriels.

Yay! Glad to hear the Muriels are gearing up again this year.

I’ve never seen this film either. I like the quote though. Definitely adding the movie to my queue.

The Delinquents is not an auspicious film debut. For completists only. But I like this line, and it does star Tom McLaughlin for all you Bill Jack fans.
