Claude Rains and Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca" (1942)

Casablanca (1942) Directed by Michael Curtiz. Claude Rains as Captain Renault and Humphrey Bogart as Rick Blaine

Renault: I’ve often speculated why you don’t return to America. Did you abscond with the church funds? Run off with a senator’s wife? I like to think you killed a man. It’s the Romantic in me.

  1. This is another movie I need to see at some point. Some teachers here at the school have told me it was a famous film from the 40’s and that it starred Humphrey Bogart and was set during World War II during the war years.

  2. I don’t like movies in black and white, but I guess this one was “OK”.

  3. lmao at this thread.

Great, great choice of a quote, Craig. I love it.

  4. Hard to believe after more than 500 MQotD’s I still hadn’t done Casablanca
