London crowns ‘A Prophet’

AFI’s promising opening lineup announced

The first selections for the 23rd AFI Fest in Los Angeles were announced today with a number of films that have been getting lots of buzz at recent festivals.

Cannes: Audiard’s ‘Prophet’ Finds US Distributor

Jacques Audiard’s A Prophet (Un Prophéte), one of the current favorites among the bloggering class to win the Palme d’Or, has been picked up for distribution in North America, South America and Australia by Sony Pictures Classics.
