Fox Searchlight Enters the Ring with ‘Wrestler’

The ever vigilant Nick Plowman of Fataculture just gave me the heads up to Anne Thompson’s Variety report that Fox Searchlight beat out Lionsgate, Overture, The Weinsteins, Sony and others for the rights to distribute Darren Aronofsky’s much praised film The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke, Evan Rachel Wood and Marisa Tomei.
