Review: Alice in Wonderland (2010) **

The biggest sin of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland is not that it’s an impotent pretender to the original literary icon, but that it’s a faded looking glass reflection of what we used to love about Burton himself.

Concept Art: Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’

McPaper has a pile of nifty concept art from Tim Burton’s upcoming Alice in Wonderland (March 5, 2010) starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and others.
I like the hallucinatory style. It’s of a piece with Burton’s other work, but it has a refinement that stands on its own.
