According to Variety’s Nick Vivarelli, Italian composing legend Ennio Morricone has agreed to score Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards now filming in Germany. It’s official: Brad Pitt is a Bastard. According to Variety, the actor has signed on the dotted line to star in Quentin Tarantino’s next film Inglorious Bastards as a Tennessee hillbilly who leads a team of eight Jewish soldiers in fighting the Nazis during WWII.

The Playlist reported over the weekend a blurb in the print edition of Entertainment: Weakly that rumors of Leonardo DiCaprio starring in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards were false. Now Variety’s Michael Fleming and Tatiana Siegel are saying Hostel director Eli Roth is in talks for the part of a “baseball bat-swinging Nazi hunter.”
