London crowns ‘A Prophet’

Jacques Audiard’s Palme d’Or runner-up A Prophet took the inaugural Star of London award at the just concluded BFI London Film Festival. John Hillcoat’s The Road received a special mention.

‘The Road’ rolls into Thanksgiving

Because nothing says “Family Holiday” like the end of the world, Dimension is moving John Hillcoat’s The Road from October 16 to November 25 – the same date as another, less apocalyptic-y Weinstein release: Nine.
What does it mean? Aside from the fact you’ll have to wait an extra month to see it, probably nothing.
