The Sundance Film Festival keeps rolling through to Sunday, but all of the world premieres have been seen. Many journos and industry types will be packing their bags and heading home while others will be mopping up and catching additional screenings of hot titles they missed the first time around.

The folks at HitFix took the novel step of asking the Weinstein Company directly if Rob Marshall’s highly anticipated musical Nine was getting bumped into 2010. The response from an unnamed publicity representative:
“The rumors are untrue. Nine is opening limited on Nov 25 and will continue to expand through Christmas.”

Apple has the trailer for Nine, Rob (Chicago) Marshall’s take on the 1982 Broadway musical that itself was based on Federico Fellini’s film 8 1/2. Click the image for the Apple Nine page.
