The adaptation of Neil (Sandman) Gaiman’s children’s book Coraline by writer/director Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas) has been on LiC radar since it was originally announced as a 2008 release. Since then it’s been pushed back to February 2009, but my enthusiasm is undimmed.

Back in February, LiC passed along a Variety report that David Fincher had signed on to direct Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary’s adaptation of Charles Burns’ 12-issue comic Black Hole.
