In the wake of John Hillcoat’s The Road officially getting bumped to 2009, the LA Times’ Patrick Goldstein spoke with Harvey Weinstein about the juggling going on with a number of his other films. Speculation is that The Weinstein Co. is low on money, but Harvey has a rational answer for each move.

W. Generally lukewarm reviews aren’t doing much to give me hope for Oliver Stone’s treatment of George W. Bush, but I still want to see some of the performances, especially Josh Brolin’s.

Nick Plowman of Fataculture just gave me the heads up that Apple has the first trailer for Gus Van Sant’s Milk starring Sean Penn, James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Josh Brolin and Diego Luna.
From where I sit, it’s a pretty terrific trailer that will no doubt stir up a lot of controversy.
