Mini-review: Daybreakers (2010) **

This stylish attempt to shake up the vampire genre is a curiously leaden time-filler that wastes a talented cast.

AFI Fest: Fantastic and not-so-fantastic

AFI Fest reviews of FANTASTIC MR. FOX and EVERYONE ELSE

Satanic Mr. Fox

With people trying to turn “Chaos Reigns” from Lars Von Trier’s Antichrist into a t-shirt friendly catch phrase, it was probably inevitable that some smarty would make the connection between Antichrist, Willem Dafoe, talking foxes and Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox… and now Peter Debruge has. It’s not embeddable, but it’s sort of funny. Check [...]

You can [...]

Trailer: My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done

Freaky goodness from the minds of David Lynch and Werner Herzog.
“Why is the whole world staring at me?”  I know, right?
I have no idea when My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done opens, but I can’t wait.
In case you haven’t been following this film at LiC, you can get a few details here.
